About Our Practice
We are a family practice devoted to providing a friendly professional service to our patients. We offer doctors with a special interest in children’s health, skin cancer prevention, management and treatment and women’s health issues.
We have a Pharmacy and Pathologist next door as well as Allied Health Services, and Dentist.
All of our doctors are vocationally registered, which means they undergo certified on-going medical education and quality assurance programs as set down by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
We are an AGPAL Accredited Surgery.

All children under 16 years of age are bulk billed.
Dr Eskandari will Bulk Bill pensioners at his discretion and charge all other concession cards $65 for a standard appointment.
Dr Ryan & Dr Varughese will charge all concession cards $65 for a standard appointment. Medicare refunds $41.40 on a standard appointment.
All others are privately billed and we can claim your Medicare refund at the time of consultation.
All Saturday appointments are privately billed for everyone.

If you are new to our practice, please book in with Dr Eskandari or Dr Varughese. Please note that we do not take walk-ins.
We are a COVID Vaccine provider; please phone us to book an appointment.
We will be running vaccine clinics via appointment only. You must book over the phone with the receptionist for COVID vaccines.

Dr Jim Ryan
Dr Jim Ryan is our Principal.
He completed his training in Ireland in 1978. He has 4 years of in-hospital medicine and over 30 years experience in General Practice.
His post graduate qualifications include a Diploma in Child Health and Diploma in Obstetrics, and he is a founding member of the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Dr Ryan has a special interest in Child Health.
Dr Amir Eskandari
Dr Amir Eskandari has been with our Practice for over 15 years now and comes to us from Iran.
He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He is interested in all areas of family medicine but has a special interest in Skin Cancer prevention, treatment and management, including removal of lesions.
Dr Eskandari speaks both Farsi and English.
Dr Rahel Varughese
Dr Rahel Varughese is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She has a special interest in Women’s health, particularly Breast Feeding Medicine.
Rahel also enjoys Family Medicine and does excisions, travel vaccinations and childhood medicine.
